Yes it?s as David says below for the 100 BN2-100/6 gearbox, unless you are
referring to the 100 BN1 which is a different gearbox all together. You
certainly wouldn?t want to fit a BN1 gearbox to a six-cylinder engine.

Yes they are the same except for the length of the pilot bushing part of the
main shaft. You have to shorten up the 6 cyl shaft to use in a 4 cylinder car

This is dumb but how different are the 100-4 transmissions and 100-6
transmissions? Both side shift. Are they interchangeable?
