I am very interested in any other responses to Jim's questions. I plan on
building up a stock motor this winter. The crank seems to a weak link and any
help this group can provide is certainly appreciated.
Joe, did you ever diagnose why the motor went at Topeka?

Right off the bat I would say magnaflux, then balance. Once
any balance grinding is done, then continue with the other
treatments.
