Yamabond #4. Most folks recommend the Copper Coat, but I believe Yamabond
works better for keeping oil and water in their places. Also, you need to be
sure the cylinders stand properly proud and both the head and block are flat.
Gaskets can't compensate for that and still seal in combustion gases. Remember
that the copper gasket is not really compressible. The surface is soft so
little irregularities and defects can push up into the copper, but if the prep
isn't right they won't work much better than the shim steel gaskets.
