Bobby: Speedway Motors also has a good explanation and lower prices than
Pegasus; speedwaymotors.com . Of course, it's hard to beat the prices at Jegs
or Summit. I think their volume is just so high they get a better break.

Could someone point me in the right direction to understanding the fittings
used on our race cars...
I need to plumb a 1" inside diameter hose from the crankcase (90 degree) and a
1" inside diameter hose to my catch tank.
I don't understand the terminology of the references on the likes of the Earl
brand hose connectors ...
like -8AN -6AN etc....
In the need to know... the crank vent needs to come from the fuel cover plate
and take a 90 degree short run. I think I just need to drill out the valve
cover and have a 1" connection to my catch tank which will also need to short
90 degree receivers to catch the blow by from my 1" i.d. hoses....
please don't think I'm dumb... I'm still learning....
