With too much time to think during the winter --
I wonder why, when we suffer a major engine failure, we end up with
debris in all the oil passages.
We do have full flow filters on our engines, whether the stock type /
location, or remote cannisters. Obviously the filtering system does
not stop all the little stuff from going throughout the system.
Makes me wonder if there is always oil flowing through the bypass valve.
Any pet theories?
