It's really weird that Moss shows the spring arching upwards.

For a stock spring, the eyes are above the main leaf. The spring is nearly
flat, so may arch up or down depending on state of sag and load applied.
New unloaded springs arch down slightly, ISTR the arch is gone by the time
you bolt up the rear axle.
