I think once the Utah track is complete and in operation, you will see
lots of changes. So much so, you will not recognize your events as the same
as before the new track. With a track owned by someone other than you, he ,
or most likely his lawyers, will start requiring more and more safety
things. Insurance will require corner workers that have some training,
special safety equipment in cars, etc. Then will come more cars so there
will be bigger crowds and insurance regs that are different for spectator
and non spectator events come into play. Roebling Rd. outside of Savannah
Ga. was made to remove the very few bleachers that only guests and crews
used to watch races as it was a non spectator track. Therefore, according to
the insurance, no bleachers were needed. These were only about 4 rows high
and 15 ft. long each. If you want to keep it low key and fun, stick with
what you have. Or you will soon be contributing to the list of problems with
vintage racing as your costs start to escalate. The grass is not always
greener over the fence. Barry
