In reference to the recent seat discussion, I found this company in a circle
track magazine. They make a $50 seat frame that welds and supports the seat
and attaches to the rollbar and door rails. They also sell the Kirkey seats.

save you hours of time. It will also give you the safest mounted seat you
could possibly have. By simply rotating the tubes in the slip tubes provided
(not shown), you mount this kit directly to the main hoop and the door bars.
All of the tabs are included to also mount your seat belts!

Our aluminum racing seats are fabricated for us by KIRKEY Fabrication, one
of North America's largest and most respected seat manufacturers. They are
constructed of 0.125" high grade aluminum. Double rib support is offered in
the straight up regular size and single rib support in the lay back regular
size and both lay back and straight up large sizes. Sizing is measured in
inches across the seat. Regular is 15 1/2" and large is 17 1/2". The
straight up is a 5 degree lay back. The lay back is a 20 degree lay back.
Small 14" seats and an extra large 20" seat are also available. All seats
include a rugged black vinyl cover that snaps on snuggly.
