Too many projects, not enough time.
This particular car was raced by Minnesota's Don Geise in the early
1970s. It was the car that he built after totalling is TR2 at Mid-Ohio. As a
result of the rollover, Giese put a unusual rollcage in the car which still
remains.
The car was built from 1955 chassis. However, it has an incorrect large
mouth nose and is missing the engine hood. The body is basically solid, but
will require significant amount of work. The engine and gear box are gone.
The rear has a detroit locker - probably the only valuable racing part on the
car.
If you want a project to build a ground up car with an actual vintage
race history this may be the car for you. It has a logbook documenting racing
for several years starting in 1972, after which time the car was retired. It
has been basically sitting since then. The car is in Minnesota.
