Finally got in a decent night's work at the shop. A couple of weeks ago I
gave away the squaretail Spit tub that was under the pallet racks, so I've
slowly been moving everything around. The Mark 1 Spit that was in the far
corner is now under the racks, the lathe, drill press and one of the tool
boxes moved over to take its place. Got the air line run over the the new
machining center, moved the Midget back to the other side, cleared out some
stuff in the middle, and now I finally have room to work on a car. I plan
to haul Killer down there as soon as I can, and take a look at the gearbox.
I had to attend the IVR event without a car, I'll do what I can to get a
Triumph to the season opener autocross on April 1st. Ah, springtime.
Of course, working at the shop means I was not here at the international
headquarters of the Fat Chance Garage, so those of you waiting on Triumph
parts and quotes from me are still waiting. It may rain tomorrow, so I may
not haul Killer to the shop but will do some business instead. We shall see.
And I still have a bit over a thousand messages that need manual intervention
waiting for me in the Team.Net queue. Say, did you see that nice little
mention about Team.Net in the latest Grassroots Motorsports?
It's late, I'm tired, and you probably aren't terribly interested in my
pointless ramblings, so enough for now.
