I went to look at a 1969 TR6 DSP car that is for sale in Austin. I neglected
to bring the phone number to work today, so if anyone is interested in this
car cantact me and I'll get you the number. I first saw this car in 1990,
and it was very nice. It was built by British Auto Specialists in Fort
Worth, by Jeff Sloan. At some point he sold it and it was raced by multiple
owners. The car is now presentable but needs freshening up. The PO has
changed to SU's (Strombergs in the trunk) and it runs rich-loads up. The
valve cover pumps out a fair amount of valve guide blow-by, but the dipstick
does not. It look OK in bright white with logos, but the panel fit is
mediocre. Driver door strap failed and door is messed up accordingly.
Bolt-in rear deck rollbar. Tranny good, no O/D. 7" Carrol Shelby mags.
