success with?

is
heading for my intake ports...
The advertising bumpf says "reduces under bonnet temperatures up to 70%."
The manufacturer is Design Engineering Inc, which I assume is American.
It is available in 1" wide x 50 feet, 2" wide by 50 feet, and 6" wide by 100

Hello Leon,
I am not advocating the wrap one way or the other as I don't use it, but
perhaps MY reasons for not using it on the GT6 would apply to you as well.
Primary reason I don't use it is because of reports (rumours) of hastened
manifold burnout from the higher temps. Then secondly my Weber manifolds are
so close to the pipes at the top that I couldn't fit any wrap in there and
third I think it is ugly as Hell. I think the claims of reduced underhood
temps sound valid, it is an insulation.
Maybe after all the experience on the list weigh in I'll be convinced to try
it :-}}
