I seem to runs into walls on this locally and wondered what the rest of you
do if anything. Any help would be appreciated.
I am looking for a wheel stud either with the same shank or a bit larger in
diameter than a stock TR-6 front stud. This will need to have about 1 7/8
thread up to a max of 2". I have dog-eared the book of NAPA options and
Dorman pieces and purchased a dozen that were "supposed" to be right only
to find they had some odd shank configuration. What I am trying to do is go
to a stronger wheel attachment in the Spit (7/16 over 3/8) which is the
same as TR-2/6. The stock TR-6 front studs fit perfectly but are too short
to allow the use of the alloy rims and/or any spacers.
A Guiness to the lad with the solution to my dilemma.
Thanks
