Nope, no fuse link wire like later cars. Unfortunately, like Mike mentioned,
the stock ammeter can act like one, which is why I added a 30A in-line fuse
almost immediately after I got my roadster.

I just got towed home from work. When I got to the office garage this evening
my 1600 was completely dead. No ignition, no lights, no radio, no nothing. B
The battery sparks very nicely, so it has juice.
I am assuming that it is either the battery connection down at the starter or a
bad battery ground. And I will look at both this weekend when I can crawl
around underneath.
If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know so that when I'm getting
dirty Saturday I can look at everything.
