Isn't that an awful feeling?
That happened to my '68 at the frame end of the negative battery cable.
On a different car there was a bad cell in the battery that wouldn't
deliver high current. Lights still lit !
Watch out with that spark test anywhere near the battery. Hydrogen gas
possibly, and an explosion hazard.
