The hood prop rod is also on the driver's side on my '69 2000.
If anyone is looking for a hood, I have one that has never been installed,
still in primer grey, and in perfect condition (no dents, scratches or
rust)... the factory part number on the hood is "65100 A 3201". I won't
give it away, but will be reasonable on the price.

Seems to me the hood prop rod is on the opposite side, but it will still
bolt up and latch. Someone with real documentation should let you know
for sure.
I have a 67.5 and the prop rod is on the driver's side.
