I agree, that was one of the nicest designs to come out of Detroit in that
era. I always loved those, especially the hard tonneau.
The DeLay Museum in Tacoma has a lot of the big old American Iron cars in
its collection. I had forgotten how huge some of them were until I stood
next to one recently. I can't even imagine trying to park one of those in
today's parking garages. They make SUV's look like compacts.

Compared to a Datsun Roadster, yes, a '63 T-bird is big, but not so much so
compared to other American cars of its era. They are such a beautiful car
