You can get a hardware kit fir a reasonable price on Ebay, Datsun Parts
Express. It's nice to have the right stuff if yours is a mish-mosh. The
correct hardware is a 12mm wrench size, "normal" nuts in that bolt size
are 13mm. IIRC, mine has lockwashers.

You can double nut the stud and back it out. Not sure if you need the

washer, but it hasn't hurt anything on my motor.
