This same subject was just discussed on the 311s.org forum.

The stock 1600 roadster and stock 510 clutch assemblies are the same. The
2000 roadster clutch is a higher pressure unit. Many 510 owners upgrade to
the 2000 roadster clutch.

Yes, you could probably use the 510 clutch in a 2000, but doesn't sound like
a good idea to me.

Why not just use the 2000 clutch stuff in your 2000?

Fellow Roadster Gang:

I am getting close to pulling the engine and transmission to replace the
clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, rb sleeve, retaining spring and
pilot bearing. Question: Is it true that the same components for a 510
Datsun will work? Will all 510 components work for what is listed above? Is
there a specific year(s) that work?

1969 2000 that is having release bearing noise.
