hi.
i'm getting ready to put the studs back in for the intake/exhaust, and i've
noticed that the studs are not symmetrical; one side is threaded longer than
the other. can someone tell me which way goes into the head, or does it
really matter?
and, since i'm here, although the engine seemed to run fine, no water in the
oil, no oil in the water, although i only had it running for less than an
hour or two after i got it and realized it needed a new clutch which
necessitated pulling the engine which did not necessitate pulling the body
and stripping it down and having it painted . . .
does it make sense to pull the head and put in new studs and gaskets or
should i leave well enough alone??????
