I have had very good luck with having the stock springs re-arced.  I didn't
want stiffer springs, but wanted them lowered.  My request was that they
both be even (my car was sagging to the left) and that they lower the rear
end by 1/2".  It came out exactly like I requested - measured the before and
after on both sides.

Amazing that they can de-arc them as well. They took them apart, removed
rust, rebushed them, repainted them, and added new U-bolts. They look brand
new.  $292 plus tax.  If you are in the Seattle area, the company is called
Craig Auto Springs and came recommended by classic car shops and owners.
It's been almost two years now and they are still even.

So, Scott, how are they after 4 years?

Btw, Greg, I got a "that roadster better be on the road or sold this year"
ultimatum (awwwww, geeee, do I have to? <g>), so need to review our earlier
emails regarding upgrading the brakes. Where'd you end up on buying those
other roadsters?

Greetings list.  I recall this being kicked around several months back.  I
have decided to look into having my 25yr old comp springs re-arched, as they
sag a bit.  I called the local spring shop and he indicated that he had done
a few over the years (5 or 6) but in his experience Japanese cars of that
era generally do not hold the re-arch for long... a couple months to a
couple years.  I'm looking at $35-50 per spring, which seemed reasonable.
Anyone have any experience? If I wanted to raise the tail an inch (back to
comp height I would imagine) what other options do I have?
