Greetings everyone,
I'd like to introduce you to Blastr. It's not my new roadster (although,
that's a good name for one), but a new vehicle classifieds website. What
makes this website different, is that is was designed with car
enthusiasts in mind and it has some nifty features:
- When you search for a vehicle, Blastr will put location markers on a
map, along with a thumbnail picture of the car when you 'mouseover'
that marker.
- For any search, you can specify a zipcode and the radius you'd be
willing to travel for the right car. Blastr can also send an email
alert when someone lists a vehicle in your specified area.
- When you post a listing, you are in complete control: activate it,
de-activate it, feature it on the the front page or delete it at any
time. You can create as many listings as you want.
- Blastr works on a 'point' system: it costs one point to activate a
listing (makes it searchable by anyone), and five points to feature it
on the front page. Everyone gets one point when they sign up, and once
you activate your listing, your account is charged that point. When
your listing expires or when you delete/de-activate it, you get the
point back. That way, you can always post for free a classified. If you
wish to post multiple ads at once or feature a car on the front page,
you'll need additional points which you can purchase or earn by
referring members to Blastr.
And a beautiful roadster picture (thx to Ross at Sports Imports) is
displayed which should create some general roadster interest!
Thanks for checking it out, http://blastr.net , and use coupon "311s"
for some welcoming points.
I welcome any feedback, good or bad.
Stephan
