I milked a 70 2000 home one time this way. Figured
that gas tank was too gummed up and lines were
clogged. Get six feet of fuel line and stick it in a
gas can on the floor board, behind seat or where ever.
plumb it up to the "in" on the fuel pump. do the ether
as stated earlier to get the initial fire. might take
a couple of times with the magic stuff to get the pump
to pump from your gas can. might work long enough to
get on the trailer, wouldnt recomend much more than
that.

I did milk my baja bug home from the mountains one
time with fishing line for the throttle cable, took a
bit of shift coordination but worked all the way till
the driveway.

Never tried the panty hose for fan belt deal but I
hear that has worked for some.
