I think it's a double-edged sword. I believe a quality resto is worth that,
but I am dismayed that a) I don't have $20k or $30k to spend in one fell
swoop, and b) my $2.5k project may still swallow that much money over time
when I thought a quality frame-off would top out at $8k-$10k.
Oh, well, onward and upward!

Well said Paul, they are certainly getting noticed. On my freeway drive back
from the Badroc meet Sunday, I had two separate cars with grinning young
guys pull up and take pictures of my car with camera phones. Lots of smiles
and thumbs up all the time and this is in my rather ordinary 68 Spl.
"Even @ 20K these cars are cheap compared to any old mass produced American
muscle. I see these cars as rare and unique as any other "classic" its
