I have used a cup head bolt to hook behind the edge of the bush.
Use one that is nearly the same head diam. as the pilot bush ID.
Then use a lever under the nut at the other end of the bolt and ease the
bush out
Might take a few tugs at different points on the bush but it will slide out
fairly easily ; )
