Grrrr, my driveway is sloped. More incentive to clear enough garage space to
get the car in, eh? <g> My arms "might" be long enough - we'll see.
Actually, the wiper motor works just fine, but the driver's pivot is loose
thru the cowl opening and the passenger's pivot is broke off where the wiper
arm would attach. Still good info.

Pete,
The seat has four studs that stick thru the floor of the car. You have to
jack up the car and put it on jackstands (or have long arms) and just unbolt
it. Your right, looking in and around the seat gives no clue as to how it
might come out.
Once the seat is out, its a good time to smear a little grease on the slide
mechanism.
A Datsun 510 can be made to work for the wiper motor without too much
trouble, in case you need a new one. They are still available at some auto
parts stores, a lot cheaper than a roadster motor.
