Someone mentioned bleeding.... you mention british cars... it's basically the
same caliper set-up as a MGA twin cam, or pick an early Xk series jag...
crossover tubes that tend to collect air bubbles.
Specific to the roadsters, one of the weak spots is the bulkhead tends to
crack where the M/cyl is bolted to - mushy brakes ! There is a reinforcing
plate
out there to remedy just this problem. Haven't had to use one here... I'll
let the rest of the listers fill ya in
