Wish I knew for sure. I think so since it's fired a couple times; just won't
catch.

The spade connector that you mention looks okay. Again, w/ no tools
available.....

One thing I'm wondering about is the fuel line from the fuel pump. Some PO
ran the tube up from the pump to the height of the alternator, then over to
the right fender before heading forward over the voltage regulator to one of
those plastic in-line fuel filters, then around the front of the radiator
before looping back to the inlet pipe by the front carb.

I see fuel in the filters (there's one on the fuel pump inlet side, too),
but is this a bit too far for the fuel to travel? I'm parked a little
uphill, and the only other time it wouldn't start it was parked uphill.
Hmmmmmmm.....

Pete

Do you have spark? A timing light while you're cranking will tell you
for sure. I had this happen suddenly and it was the spade on the side
of the distributor that the thin wire connects to. I had to take that
apart, sand all the metal pieces clean, then reassemble, then it was
good as new.
