Raul,

I am using a "general" thermostat that
fits Ford 302, and a variety of other
Ford and Chevy engines. I did drill a
3/16" hole in the lip so that a small
amount of water could flow through the
thermostat and fill the entire system.
It fit perfectly and has given me no
problems.

Hello Listers,

On the way back from solvang my car
started overheating.
With the warm weather upon us here in
the bay area , Im hoping for some
suggestions on how to make sure this
problem doesnt persist.
I have a 67.5 1600 ... are there any
upgrade for the radiator?? 3 core 4
core..aluminum??
Also what is the best thermostat as far
as brand and temperature for the 1600.

Thanks in advance for the help..
