Greetings,
A college friend living in Texas found a 2000 Roadster on his way to work.
Does anyone know about this car?

Well I stopped and looked at that poor little car
growing in the parking lot. Tried to get the VIN
Nubmer, but alas could not see one. The car is a 2000
model with high windshield and the later "Z style
dash" (loaded with cracks I might add). Had a
vertical radio (long since replaced with a modern tape
deck in the same spot) had corduroy bucket seats
(perhaps replaced at same time????) The grill on the
front had two thick horizontal bars and three thin
ones with the big D and surround in the middle. Large
round amber turnsignal indicators on the front.
Besides a 2000 on each side and one on the back there
were not other identification markings.
This car is siting near a Goodyear tire shop in a
parking lot at the corner of Parker and 15th street in
Plano, TX. The tires on the front of the car have
disintegrating 'NEW" labels on them and appear to be
new....the rear tires have been flat for a LONG time.
The car fell out of Texas state inspection in
2000.....so hasn't been driven in at least 3 years.
HAs aluminum 5 slot GM style wheels. The top is in
bad shape..having separated from the rear and is no
doubt leting copious amounts of water in the cabin
every time it rains.
Hope this info helps :)
