Some rental car companies are doing this in the USA using satellite
locators.

Watch out for the 'surcharge' from the rental outfit if you break their
'policy' of excessive speed in the rental. One of the car mag's editors'
(Car&Driver, Automobile, Road&Track?) got nailed this way.

Read the fine print....is the thin edge of the wedge?
