If the flots in your carbs are brass, order a replacement set from the
dealer. They are quite cheap. You will probably find that if you shake the
front float that it will have fuel in it. I installed a new set of brass
floats a few years back and within 2 years both of them developed cracks
and sunk. The black plastic floats I then installed have been fine.
