I have had the conversion done using roadster bits.
You need to get yourself all the major brake parts
from a 1600 or a 2000 and bolt them in. You also need
14" wheels as the 13" wheels will not clear the disc
and calipers.
There is also a track width difference of about 2
inches. I have 175/65 R14 82H tires on the
car now and did not need to flare the front guards.
If you put on bigger wheels, you would need to worry
about clearance.
So, not hard to do, but getting the parts might be
harder and pricier. But, doing a roadster conversion
means the swap is a proven option.

Anyone converted a 1500 to disc brakes. It seems like
the right thing to do for my 65. How hard will it be?
