Mike Gholson is the creator and administrator of the 240Z.org site (now
classiczcars.com). This site with it's PHP Post forums started an
international club like atmosphere much like the roadster list. This is
working simultaneously with the 240z.org mailing list and both are quite
active. I've enjoyed the forum type of interface and find it more pleasing
than email based communication. What are your views? Please copy Mike in
your response to keep him in the loop.

Hi all,
I've started a Datsun Roadster site with the similar intentions
as our Zcar club. However, I would like to submit a request for
possible administrators for this new site.
The ideal candidate for Administrator should have some techincal
abilities and a willingness to improve and make a 'world' out of
the Roadster.
Maintaining the site isn't much more than creating forums, encouraging
others to visit (aimless promotion), appointing moderators, approving
(or disapproving) of various content. They won't need to know any
programming languages or operating system commands. I'll take care
of all that here.
Why am I doing this? We are paying for a server that is fully capable
of handline multiple sites and it's not even close to our capacity. I
also think there are no real good web-based Roadster groups (except for
the mailing list) out there. I also expect this group will be a little
slower because of the rarity of the vehicle. And, hey, it's really not
that hard to make the site available on our server. (active
participation
is another story)

We will purchase a domain as soon as we know this is something that

want to use (and enough people to help pay the domain fees).
