Well it's times like this that remind me that "reliable" is a relative term.

recurved dizzy
Fuel pump rebuilt last year
carbs rebuilt last year
pertronix ign
Timing set correctly
Thought carbs were relatively well set.
Over the past few outings have noticed a growing lack of power above 3000 rpm
Started fairly subtly
had hard time on hills this morning
Checked timing
Checked fuel filter and screen in front banjo fitting.
tried to rebalance carbs
now it runs *really* crappy!
Idles fine, revved okay not under load, but every time I start it up
it seems to get worse!
Any ideas?
