Ok, so I know this is a dead horse, but I just had some advice that I wanted to
validate:
Suppose I go out and purchase some fancy light weight wheels. I'm looking at
14x6 as I've heard those tend to be a good match for my 'lil 96hp engine. I've
also come to the conclusion that 195x60x14's are a good tire size.... And then
today someone who I esteem as having good judgement tells me that actually,
185x60x14's are better due to side-wall strength, etc etc,.. Gee, I look on
Tirerack.com and see that the Yoko Intermediaries are only $42 each on the
smaller tire... So I'm game for the 185's... What do you say group? I want
performance without pain.
(BTW, what is the weight difference from stock early 67 wheels and say.. 14x6
panasports?)
