OT - Saturn question

There is so much automobile knowledge here, I figured you all would be the 
first people I go to for info on my '92 Saturn SC.

It seems that the electric fan motor is drawing excessive amps and is popping 
the fuse.  Replacement is recommended by our mechanic.  Is this something that 
can be done without pulling the engine?
