I agree with Mike on the cost of the setup. Quite a bit of that is getting
the gears accurately designed in a CAD drawing. Anyone on the list have
the ability to do CAD drawings of the gears? That would make it much
simpler to get them manufactured.

You'd be surprised Sid. It's the set up of the CNC that costs the money -
the programming. The metal is by far the cheapest cost.
