Hey all -
Replied, but forgot the list.
Well, I plan on following the racer crowd (big cars). I will use 70's Chevy
front hubs/brakes. This way I get big vented rotors and all kinds of
aftermarket stuff cheap. I will build tubular a-arms to connect into the
frame in the original possition. Or, there are a ton of different sizes of
tubular a-arms for the Chevy spindle for 40 bucks each. Just search under
suspension and look for the race car builder parts sites.
I am looking at over 300 HP, so I am getting a Ford 8.8 rear and shortening
it. Disc brakes and again, cheap aftermarket stuff. I will four link it in
and an designing a cheap coil-over system using JY springs and cheap gas
shocks.
I am in the parts searching stage now. I have to finish the roof over the
deck and deck extension before I can really get started. Looks good on
paper:) It will require welding, but for the cost of Roadster ball joints
you can buy a nice MIG-gas welder.
If anyone has good/helpful ideas let me know!
