I went to the SCCA races last year at Pikes Peak International Raceway and
watched a roadster race with several MGB's. The roadster was tricked out by
a mechanic I know north of Denver and it still got its butt kicked. Couldn't
get out of 6th place. I talked to the owner and mechanic after the race and
they had no real excuses. I think mike is right., There are lots of
performance parts for MG's and at fairly reasonable prices.
I've owned roadsters since I was in High School. --- and love the cars, but
ya gotta look at the enthusiasts parts available for the competition.
IMO
