When I cleaned mine up, I tried lots of different things: Castrol degreaser,
TSP, paint thinner, creme hand cleaner, etc. I found that Simple Green
worked about as well as all those nasty, smelly, eat-thru-aluminum products!

Simple Green also makes a heavy duty product.
