Jeff,
Once you have moved the pistons in a bit with the ajuster nut, and got
the drum on. Put the tire on, turn the ajuster nut and spin the wheel. Keep
ajusting till the brakes pads start to rub on the drum. Now back off a few
turns. Keep in mind the number of turns you backed off so you can do the same
with the other side.
Also 6 months down the line, you can redue that process and keep your pedal
and emergency brake tight.
