When the XJ gets checked out, the tell-tale of how good a conversion was done 
was peeking up underneath it and see how the oil pan fits over the 
cross-member.  Watch out for smoooshed oil pans (which could affect the 
oil-pump pick-up) and completely buggered cross members.  Good conversion 
kits are available and include work-arounds for this problem.
