The only roadster issue I forsee is the loss of the
ground flat end on one end of the spring. The sedan
has only the upper end flat and the roadster has both
ends flat. I would think some dressing with a wheel
after the cut would be a possible solution,
reconfiguring the a-arm is a big deal. I do not intend
to be the one to try it first. The TBird springs come
too long for any of our uses and need to be shortened
to 10" or less.
Other than that, it seems worth the effort and go
ahead and see if anyone is game to try.
