Hi all,

I want to lower the front end of my roadster with a stiffer spring. As
with many 510 guys I used T Bird front springs in the rear of my 2 door.
Since these were a cheaper substitute for roadster comp springs I plan
to use them on the front of the roadster.

Specs are: wire length: .656, ID 3.5 ,Total coils: 8.18, active coils ~
7, total length: 15.38.

My question is how long are the front springs? My book says 12.7 inches.
To lower this about an inch ( as I am doing a ka24e swap and it weighs
more) I should cut off ?????? An inch in height? I want to be careful
about not cutting these too short. Are has someone lowered their front
end more?

The rear will stay the same for now.

Thanks in advance,

morgan
