The last time I drove a roadster was in 1981. I was 8 1/2 Months
pregnant with my now 20 year old daughter.
Fast forward to 2001, on the way back from the winery, I DROVE the
Beast. Coming down Ortega quickly reminded me why I like these little
cars. Driving them makes what ever is going on in your life disappear.
For a space in time, it's you and the car and the road. The three are
bound together, everything melded, a complete circle.
It doesn't matter what someone does with their car unless it's
unsafe or downright bag over the head ugly(-like the new Z.) It's their
car! So make whatever mods you want as long as the car is maintained and
DRIVEN.
I'm tired of seeing the Mine is Bigger than Yours matches . Should
this require settling, a bottle of 100% Blue Agave Tequila and a
measuring tape will be needed. Then we will see the long and short of
it. Please gentleman, all of you have knowledge and experience. Try not
to belittle that gift.
BTW, I'm in the process of getting my own car to do a frame off on.
