Thanks Mike. I like the slip jaw pliers idea. What I need is a large
clamp/vise grip device with a long t-shaped handle. Once it's clamped on,
you turn the "T" from above the engine. No concerns about the cramped
quarters and plenty of leverage.

Off to Sears ....
