It's a Lotus modified Renault engine. I never could figure why Lotus when
Renault instead of sticking with the Ford 1600, they had so much success
with. The Ford /is/was/will be/ a good powerplant. Lowest bidder maybe?
Climax Coventry to Ford to Renault??? Although, at the time, Renault was
having a real streak in the Motorsports world. Perhaps that influenced their
choice.
