Andrew,
If the body has rust issues in the rockers or elsewhere I suggest getting
the rust repaired BEFORE lifting the body off the frame.
I also suggest tack welding angle iron between the door openings. The bodies
aren't the strongest especially after all the years and it can flex and bend
especially around the door openings.
The first time you remove the body, the body doesn't always come free of the
chassis so easily which is why I recommend the angle iron. I lifted a body
and the frame started coming up with it until it came crashing down or is
that bouncing down.
Just a suggestion.
