Keeping in mind that this is a roadster list, I'll keep this short and also
ask that all replies be off-list.
Family friend has a 1974 240Z 2+2 in his driveway and his wife wants it
gone. The odo reads close to 300K miles, but the engine is a 280Z engine
with between 50K and 100K on it. Although the car was being driven until
put away, it will no longer start. There is an ignition problem-no spark.
Owner thinks that it is the "little black ignition control box by the
passenger-side firewall." Body is straight. Interior is scrappy. I didn't
see any rusting through, but the car has been outside for a while. It has
all four 240Z aluminum rims. Owner wants just a few hundred bucks
(200-300?), and for someone to take it away. Good title, although I would
think it better to consider this an excellent parts car, rather than a poor
project car. It is located in Issaquah, Washington.
